The Great Danes, led by coach Greg Gattuso are hoping to improve from the 2022 season that saw the team finish 3-8.

If UAlbany wants to find more success this season, beating a tough Fordham program that made the playoffs in 2022 could be a great start.

What To Know About Fordham Football?

Fordham football is looking to come out the gates with a running start after a successful 2022 campaign that saw the team make the FCS playoffs for the first time since 2015.

Although Fordham lost 52-42 to New Hampshire in the first round, their efforts left many hopeful for the future.

If the Rams want to continue their success by making it to the playoffs for the second season, head coach Joe Conlin will have to make a very important decision following the graduation of Tim DeMorat.

The 2023 season marks the first time in three years that DeMorat will not be the starting quarterback.

Conlin has still not named the starting quarterback for the fall, making it possible that we could see quarterbacks splitting reps vs UAlbany.
